Ships of the Desert
On weekends we like to take drives in the desert and my favorite thing to do is camel spotting. It is a hobby similar to bird watching only you don't need binoculars and they don't have nests but sometimes you get lucky and see one in flight....

Love your pictures and stories. I'm up late with usual insomnia from a late summer cold/bronchitis. I'm about to be an "empty nester" for about 6 hrs. a day when my two little birdies take flight on Mon. to the "Big K" classroom. Mommy bird is so excited to have some time "alone" in her nest for the next 9 months! Only 12 years to go until I reach your status! Your future son-in-law is a cutie.
